Cantrall-Buckley Campground Improvement Project

8153636_origFollowing completion of a Master Plan that was completed in 2005 with the assistance of BLM funds and then approved by Jackson County, work began on the highest priority need in the Plan, upgrading the campground to be suitable for today’s RVs. With two grants from Oregon Parks and Recreation Department and matching funds from Jackson County and other agencies, as well as significant in-kind support, a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment system and a shower/restroom building were completed in 2008.
