Mission Statement:

The GACDC provides assistance, coordination and resources necessary for economic and social activities that help sustain the livability of our community. Our primary responsibility, and the reason for the founding of the organization, is the operation and maintenance of Cantrall Buckley Park. The park land is owned by Jackson County but operation and maintenance responsibilities were turned over to the GACDC in 1996.

In addition to operating the park, the GACDC serves the Applegate community (everywhere within the Applegate watershed) in other ways.

Our current project involves replacement of the outdated restroom building in the Cantrall-Buckley Park Day Use Area and updating the adjacent playground. Future facilities will be accessible to those with disabilities.
